Reading, Writing, 'Rithmetic ... and Islam

Once upon a time, in the Pleistocene Era of American history, public schools actually taught students necessary and valuable subjects.  A century ago or more, the classic formula for elementary school education was "readin,' writin,' and 'rithmetic."  Then, gradually, came the destruction of the public schools, starting around the mid-1950s, and accelerated in the 60s and 70s by the rise of the teachers' unions.  Now, public education in the United States is a nightmarish joke, and private schools aren't far behind.

What is relatively new, however, is that the schools, which have long been government centers for indoctrination, are now allowing themselves to become centers for Islamic brainwashing.  There are many stories such as the one you're about to hear, but this is representative.  Here is another great and courageous lady, Brigitte Gabriel, who, like the heroic Dr. Wafa Sultan, comes from an Islamic background herself.  And, like Dr. Sultan, Ms. Gabriel has been subjected to a firestorm of lies, slander, and threats, not only from Muslims, but from their comrades in the world's press.  Here, she speaks at a conference in Nashville, Tennessee ... two years ago.  Things have only gotten worse since then.

America, and the American system of public education, are gone.  Parents are now left with only one option, if they want a quality education for their children: home schooling.  But that's a subject for another post.  At the very least, parents should be aware of the violation of their children's rights in the public "schools."

  1. She certainly tells it like it is, and she's being a watchman, letting everyone who'll listen know exactly where we're headed. She must be doing something right to be attacked by the world media the way she is. But it's not "rhetoric" if she's lived some of it.

Now more than ever, parents need to take charge of their children's education!!
