Within the past week, as part of his ongoing contribution to peace and understanding in the Middle East, the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, reiterated the Palestinians' implacable opposition to the very existence of the state of Israel. As President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry impose increasingly harsh demands on Israel's leadership, and even though Israel has long agreed to a "two-state solution," the Palestinians persist in their savage zeal to see Israel utterly erased from the world map - - - and, eventually, to see the genocide of the Jewish people.
Last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Obama. On March 17, it will be Mr. Abbas' turn. It has been demonstrated time and again that Obama is the enemy of Israel. Be prepared for more of the same.
Just as a breath of fresh air, and just for a glimpse of the historical truth of the situation, let's turn to this brief presentation by Danny Ayalon, concerning the "occupied settlements" about which Mr. Abbas is so piously concerned:
Under the administrations of George Bush and Barack Obama, the United States has chosen to stand against Israel, by (in geopolitical jargon) "tilting toward 'Palestine'." That puts America in an indescribably dangerous position: because America's greatest enemy today is not North Korea, Iran, or Vladimir Putin. It is God almighty. Speaking about the nascent nation of Israel in the person of Abraham, God promised: I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee (Genesis 12:3). The world has been warned.
